Five Suzuki concepts for 2013 Tokyo Motor Show

Suzuki has announced no less than five concept cars for the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, which takes place in Japan this November. Four of them are new: the Suzuki Crosshiker, the Suzuki X-Lander, the Suzuki Hustler and the Suzuki Hustler Coupe – the fifth being the Suzuki iV-4 already seen at Frankfurt this year. Hyundai HED-6 concept car for next Tucson

Called HED-6, the Hyundai soft-roader is the work of its European design team and the sleek wedgy styling is a world away from the bulbous and anonymous looks of the current Tucson. We should see the final production version at the Frankfurt motorshow in the autumn.

Opel Ampera plug-in hybrid design sketches leak out

A Spanish website claims to have stumbled across the technical design sketches at a European patent office and – if authentic – they spill the beans on the new plug-in hybrid electric concept car that’s bound for a showroom near you within two years. The Ampera is Opel/Vauxhall’s version of the Chevrolet Volt, the breakthrough car that could just save GM if it survives its current crisis.
